About Allie
Alexandra (Allie) Piatkowski is a multi-disciplinary health care leader experienced in project management, health systems improvement, public health and epidemiology, and knowledge translation and evaluation. An Epidemiologist by training, she has always had a keen interest in improving population health and has diverse experience across the health system at federal, provincial, and local levels. She values meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders to ensure that all voices are represented and to foster better integration across sectors.
Using data and evidence to inform decision-making is also central to her work. In her current role as Project Manager of Geriatric Emergency Medicine at the University Health Network, she is working to build a more connected, equitable health system where older adults receive the care and support they need, where and when they need it. She holds a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (Co-operative Program) from the University of Waterloo.
