About Paige

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Waterloo, I pursued a Masters of Occupational Therapy at Bond University in Australia. I returned to Canada after graduation in 2019 to start the international equivalency process, which was prolonged due to the pandemic. Finally in 2021, I started working as a home care Occupational Therapist (OT) on a provisional license while I studied and waited patiently to write my Canadian registration exam. For about a year in this job, I travelled around Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton regions providing follow up for clients in their homes following their discharge from hospital. Since the start of 2022, coming full circle, I have been enjoying working as an OT on the stroke/rehabilitation unit at my local hospital where I have continued to gain valuable experience as a new graduate every day.
