Vikram PatelVikram Patel PhD FMedSci is a recipient of the 2019 John Dirks Canada Gairdner Global Health Award for his world-leading research in global mental health, generating knowledge on the burden and determinants of mental health problems in low- and middle-income countries and pioneering approaches for the prevention and treatment of mental health in low-resource settings.

In 2018, he co-founded the GlobalMentalHealth@Harvard initiative, which is developing a suite of innovative, inter-disciplinary initiatives aimed at implementing and generating knowledge to transform mental health globally.

This is an online event. The link for accessing the lecture will be emailed the week of the event.
