With the financial support of the Fellowship, Jenna worked with Professor Giangregorio (pictured left) to assess gait and risks of falls in the elderly living in long-term care. Throughout the Fellowship, Jenna acquired and mastered a number of skills, including the collection and analysis of quantitative data.
“As the recipient of a Hallman Undergraduate Research Fellowship, I gained research knowledge and experience that cannot be taught or experienced in the classroom," explains Jenna. "This opportunity provided a sound foundation for my graduate school experience and allowed me to develop ideas for my independent study research and thesis.”
