The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards recognize leaders for outstanding community contributions.

Several Faculty of Health community members were nominated for a 2025 Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year Award.

The ceremony recognizes and pays tribute to outstanding women in the community in the following categories: Arts and Culture; Community Service; Educator; Entrepreneur; Group Achievement; Health and Wellness; Lifetime Achievement; Professional; Rising Star; Skilled Trades; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM); and Young Adult. 

Congratulations to the following Faculty of Health nominees:

  • Rose Aydin, Health Sciences undergraduate student
  • Claudia Martin Calderon, Kinesiology and Health Sciences (Neuroscience) and Aeronautics doctoral student
  • Sarah Larochelle, Kinesiology Co-op undergraduate student
  • Dr. Lili Liu, Dean, Faculty of Health
  • Sloan Stark, Kinesiology Co-op undergraduate student
