WATERLOO — A health crisis in any nation is a concern for every nation in a world where viruses travel almost as fast as email.
“There is no sanctuary,” said Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland, a world leader in public health and a former head of the World Health Organization. “All is linked to everything else.”
Brundtland spoke at the University of Waterloo on Thursday afternoon at the launch of its new School of Public Health and Health Systems.
