Celebrating 20 years of fun running

October 29, 2005 marked the 20th Anniversary of the AHS 5K Fun Run. And the weather co-operated with clear sunny skys and a temperature of 5°C at race time. This year, 102 runners, 3 dogs, and 30 volunteers participated in the Fun Run.

Special guest this year was President David Johnston, who not only put in an appearance, but finished the two laps of the ring road in under 30 minutes.

For the fourth year in a row, Kinesiology grad student, Drew Graham, finished first with a time of 17:29 bettering his mark of a year ago by 10 seconds. Bryon Hughson was right on Drew's heels most of the way.

Krista Liebner finished first in the women's field with a time of 22:22.

Kinesiology once again won the Participation Challenge and AHS won the Alumni Award. All winners are listed below.
