Interested in becoming a Faculty of Health Ambassador?
Ambassador hiring takes place in the spring term each year. Applications typically open mid-April and close at the end of May each year.
The role
The Faculty of Health Ambassador team is a group of trained and highly motivated Faculty of Health undergraduate students who represent the faculty and their programs. The team members will be available to prospective undergraduate students to provide them with personal, engaging, informational, and positive connections to their program(s) of interest, the Faculty of Health, and the University of Waterloo.
Faculty of Health Ambassadors will be invited to represent their program for 1-3 terms (2 or more terms preferred), with the option to continue as they are able. Ambassadors must take part in a minimum 8 hours of recruitment activities per active term to remain on the team.
The Faculty of Health Ambassador team is supported by, and accountable to, the Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator in the Faculty of Health's Dean's Office.

- Assisting with additional recruitment initiatives such as calling campaigns, note-writing campaigns, visits to high schools, etc.
- Monitor your contact with prospective students and provide that information to the Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator for assessment purposes.
- Be a positive role model for prospective students, representing the high-quality leaders that the Faculty of Health attracts.
- Participate in training.
