About Us:

Black in Math (BiM@Waterloo) aims to connect students in the Faculty of Mathematics who identify as Black.

We host several events each term focused on building community, fostering a sense of belonging, and supporting students as they learn how to thrive in mathematics courses and beyond. Through social events, academic support, and shared experiences, we create welcoming spaces where students can meet peers, build friendships, share experiences, and feel supported as they grow both academically and personally within the Faculty of Mathematics.

Join Black in Math (BiM) and NSBE University of Waterloo for our World Cup Final Watch Party!

We're bringing together members of the Black community and friends to enjoy an exciting afternoon of soccer, great conversation, and community. Whether you're a die-hard football fan or just looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday, we'd love to have you with us!

There will be plenty of food, snacks, and drinks, so come hungry and ready to cheer on the finalists!
