CSMC Preparation Workshops
Explore your passion for mathematics and unlock more scholarship opportunities by excelling in the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC). Join the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) professors in a series of online workshops in October. You'll work through practice questions, learn problem-solving techniques, and ask any questions you have as you prepare for the CSMC. The two sessions offered on the same day will cover the same content, please choose the time that work best for you. All times are listed in Canada Eastern Time (EDT).
- Session 1: Easier/Medium A problems, Wednesday, October 14, 8:30 AM and 7:00PM
- Session 2: Easier/Medium B problems, Wednesday, October 21, 8:30 AM and 7:00PM
- Session 3: Harder A and B problems, Wednesday, October 28, 8:30 AM and 7:00PM
Preparing for the Euclid
The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Waterloo runs a yearly webinar series consisting of 90-minute sessions to help you prepare for the Euclid Contest. These sessions are based on the modules given in the Preparation Materials for the CSMC and Euclid Contest. Each session will cover two of these modules. Our instructors will work through problems comparable to the ones you can find on the Euclid and provide live feedback and answers to any questions you have. They will introduce effective problem-solving strategies to help you work through these questions and be prepared to take on the Euclid. These sessions run in February-March. Stay tuned for dates and times for the 2027 edition of these webinars.
