Questions? Get answers from current Math students

How do you go beyond brochures and websites to learn about university? Simple. Ask the people living the experience: current students! Send us your questions and we'll have a student get back to you.

Once you submit your questions, we'll try to match you with a student in your program of interest. It may take several business days for you to hear from a student since they are balancing going to class, writing tests and exams, and their regular extracurriculars.

Suggested questions

  • What's the favourite thing about your program?
  • What are classes like?
  • Why did you choose your program?
  • What have your co-op experiences been?
  • How can I get involved and meet people?
  • What are the profs like?
  • What's the workload?

What students can't answer

Students can't answer questions about admissions or your likelihood of being accepted into your program of interest. These inquiries should be sent to our Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator (mathinfo@uwaterloo.ca).

We'll be back in January!

Our Warriors are real students and have exams and holidays coming up! Right now, they’re taking the time to study for their exams but would love to connect in the new year. Please submit your request now and our volunteer ambassadors will get back to you starting in mid-January after a well-deserved break!

Meanwhile, if you’d like your questions answered sooner, you can email mathinfo@uwaterloo.ca and staff would be happy to help!
