Registration is now open for March Open House on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spend the day or pop in for the sessions you'd like to attend.

• Attend academic information sessions and sample lectures.
• Learn about your program by chatting with professors and students.
• Discover campus with a student-led tour.

Applications are still open for some programs if you are planning to start university in September. All Engineering programs are closed to applications but there are programs available for Ontario, Canadian, and international students.

Out of over 2,000 institutions included in THE's rankings, Waterloo ranks 162nd overall, 43rd in Computer Science, 78th for Engineering, and among the top 200 for impact rankings. In Maclean's, Waterloo remains #1 in comprehensive reputation and the 5th best overall university in Canada.
