EMLS 102R Designed for multilingual students who grew up speaking a language other than English, this course will help you develop your ability to express your ideas effectively in writing. You will become aware of your most troublesome errors and learn strategies for improving punctuation, spelling, vocabulary use, grammar, sentence variety, paragraph format, and organization. Instruction and feedback are personalized to your needs.

- write paragraphs and essays in various academic genres (narrative, process, compare-contrast, and argument) under time constraints
