Virtual Advising

First-year, Math Studies and Undeclared advisors are available for 15-minute virtual appointments; all times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). 

Virtual advising is available:
  • Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 
  • Wednesdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. 
  • Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Excluding university closures due to holidays

If you are having trouble with our virtual advising system, some things to know:

  • We are using software from two third-parties (YouCanBook.Me and Zoom).
  • You do NOT need to download any software to use either product. The way that Zoom loads can be confusing though so please follow the directions as pictured:

In-person Advising

First-year, Math Studies and Undeclared advising is also available in-person for the Winter 2024 term in MC 4019A.

In-person advising is available:

  • Mondays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Excluding university closures due to holidays

Please note the following important information:

  • In-person advising is available by appointment only. Appointments are 15 minutes.
  • Students are asked to bring their watcards with them to their in-person appointment.
  • To avoid congestion students are asked to arrive no more than a few minutes prior to the start of their appointment.
  • Students can wait in the hall outside MC 4019A until the advisor on duty brings them into the advising room, MC 4019A.
