Jeremy began his career in Toronto, first at Altamira Investor Services and then at Reuters Information Services before joining Salomon Smith Barney, the investment banking arm of Citigroup in New York.
Jeremy later moved to Switzerland where he spent 8 years at the Swiss branch of AXA, one of the largest insurance companies in the world. While at AXA Switzerland, Jeremy became the head of asset allocation, reported to the Chief Investment Officer and lead a team of four investment professionals who were responsible for the day-to-day management of an asset pool worth more than 100 billion Canadian dollars.
In 2014, Jeremy returned with his family to his native Ottawa. Jeremy currently works for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, managing the $1.3 billion-dollar Green Municipal Fund, a government-funded endowment offering loans and grants to Canadian municipalities for projects which improve the environment.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 1997 and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003.
