Nomination for Faculty of Mathematics Valedictorian

Class of 2025 - June Convocation

Due March 9th, 2025 at 11:59 PM

Represent your class at Convocation this June! Each year, up to three (one per ceremony) Valedictorians will be elected by the Valedictorian Selection Committee.

• Be Faculty of Math students.
• Must have submitted an "Application to Graduate" form for convocation in June 2025.

• The nominee must have a Cumulative Average of at least 70%.

• Approval of academic record by Associate Dean of Mathematics, Undergraduate Studies 

• Fill out the nomination form details below before Sunday, March 3rd at 11:59pm
• Obtain support from five (5) nominators, each of whom must fill out the Valedictorian Nominators - Declaration of Support form. Please see form for Nominator eligibility. 
• Submit a written summary (200 - 300 words) explaining why they believe they will be an excellent representative of the graduating class. 

• Preparing and presenting a five-minute speech on (date to be announced) before a selection committee of faculty and graduating students.
