Positions available:
Marking:
Marking positions are 3 hours/week grading assessments (quizzes, assignments) for the course you are assigned to. This could include online grading (via Crowdmark or another platform) or grading on paper, depending on the course.
Tutoring:
Each tutoring position is 3 hours/week helping first- and second-year students either virtually or in-person in the Math Tutoring Centre. You will work with the Tutoring Centre coordinators at the beginning of the term to determine the subject and level you’ll tutor (Algebra or Calculus), as well as your weekly tutoring schedule. Tutoring positions are available to students who meet the criteria listed above and have successfully completed MATH 235 and MATH 237.
Both positions run for the duration of the lecture period, and are paid on the last Friday of each month for the term. These positions pay approximately $350 per month.
To apply, please submit the form below. Successful applicants will be contacted by email before Winter term begins.
Academic Integrity reviews will be completed for all considered applicants.
