Each November, eligible students entering the PharmD program the following January are invited by Student Awards and Financial Aid to apply for various entrance awards. Students must have applied for OSAP or any other government student loan. Those assessed with financial need who do not receive an award will be assessed for a University of Waterloo Full-Time Bursary.

The Student Awards & Financial Aid Office administers numerous undergraduate and graduate bursary funds. Bursaries are based primarily on financial need but may include other selection criteria such as extracurricular involvement, leadership, etc.
If you have not been assessed by the University of Waterloo System assigned bursary process and you find yourself in, or anticipate that you will have, financial difficulty during your study term, you may apply for a University of Waterloo full-time bursary.
