The School of Planning congratulates Olympic figure skater, Madeline Schizas! Her laser sharp focus brought her a third-place finish advancing Team Canada to a fourth place finish. Madeline is a first- year student at the University of Waterloo, in the School of Planning and is competing at her first Olympics in Beijing. We applaud her for her amazing hard work and her ability to juggle elite sports and university!
Be sure to cheer on Madeline during her next events: individual short program on Tuesday February 15 and free skating on Thursday February 17th.
