About the Scholarship
The Town & Gown Society Entrance Scholarship is offered by the Renison Town & Gown Society, a group of engaged women from the local community who are committed to supporting students pursuing Social Development Studies (SDS).
This scholarship is intended to support college transfer students as they begin their full‑time studies and to recognize applicants who demonstrate community involvement and commitment to social development.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a college transfer student
- Have applied for full‑time studies beginning Fall 2026
- Intend to pursue the Social Development Studies program
- Demonstrate a record of involvement in community service
- First consideration will be given to students who entered post‑secondary education through a non‑traditional pathway.
- Some consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need.
