As a Waterloo SAF student, you are an integral part of our mandatory co-op program, and one of the first steps on your co-op journey is participating in the Launch Your Career (LYC) conference.
Launch Your Career is a professional development event designed to prepare you for successful professional interactions, enhance your networking skills, introduce you to the co-op and recruitment process, and help you develop your professional identity. This event is specifically tailored for students entering their first year of studies in Accounting and Financial Management (AFM), Sustainability and Financial Management (SFM), Computing and Financial Management (CFM), Biotech/CPA, or Math/CPA programs.
We are excited to invite you to this highly anticipated professional development event, where you will gain valuable knowledge and skills to excel in your future co-op experiences.

Dress Code: Business Formal
We recommend avoiding high-heeled shoes as you will be on your feet throughout the day
- Please remember to bring your WATCard for event access.
- Advanced registration is mandatory.
- Your full-day attendance on Saturday, September 21, 2024, is expected.
- Professional profile photos will be taken for each student at no cost. We encourage you to utilize this profile photo for your LinkedIn account.
