Rock This Town brings to life the exciting history of rock music concerts in KW from the 1960's and 1970's. An insider's look into the gritty reality of building the local live music scene. This 70-minute documentary features interview with music business pros plus performances by today's musicians. Rock stars come and go but live music is here to stay!

Rock This Town is produced by Betty Anne Keller (BA '69), who will join each documentary screening to introduce the film and provide an exclusive Q&A session. The late Joe Recchia (BASC '68, MASC 71) and other special guests are featured in the film.

Come to the Princess Cinemas to relive the music and memories that made history!

What's better than starting your day eating breakfast with a T-Rex? We'll be serving up some family favourite breakfast food beside our Earth Sciences Museum and just maybe you'll catch a glimpse of our very own Faculty of Science mascot, Cobalt, nibbling on a blueberry muffin!

Come visit our T-Rex exhibit, our massive cave bear skeleton, dig out your very own fish fossiil, witness a simulated mine explosion, explore our gem and mineral displays, the Great Lakes Fountain and so much more! You might just find yourself in the jaws of a T-Rex!

Former museum curator, Peter Russell, will be on hand to welcome all alumni and their families.

Forever Black and Gold Luncheon

Join us at Fed Hall for a gourmet lunch, interactive activities and displays as well as live music! Reconnect and mingle with alumni and friends from all faculties and wear or bring along your favourite University of Waterloo clothing or memorabilia for a chance to win great prizes!

Milestone Anniversary Celebration

We will feature a special celebration for alumni celebrating their 25th, 50th, 55th and 60th anniversaries, with a archives display of photos and memorabilia from the milestone years as well as a celebratory address by University of Waterloo President Vivek Goel.

Cost: $30, including gourmet buffet lunch and a drink ticket.

There will be halal and vegetarian/vegan options available.

Join Cobalt the Dinosaur for a couple hours of fun in the Faculty of Science! Kids of all ages are welcome to attend a number of magical chemistry activities held in our Science Teaching Complex (STC). Bring your imagination, your unbound energy and come appreciate the wonders of science and chemistry!

And what is a carnival without some amazing snacks? Don't worry, we've got you covered!

Pachycephalosaurus Popcorn, Carnotaurus Cupcakes Fukuiraptor Fruit Skewers and even some Brachiosaurus Bubble Tea!
