Philippe Van Cappellen, professor in the Earth and Environmental Sciences department and Canada Excellence Research Chair Laureate in Ecohydrology, has been appointed a University Professor by the University of Waterloo.
Along with three other colleagues from across the University, Brenda Lee, continuing lecturer in the Department of Physics & Astronomy, has been awarded the 2024 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) from the Centre for Teaching Excellence on campus.

Grant Brassem is part of the third cohort of students to embark on the Quantum Technology specialization within the Master of Science in Physics program.
