Post-graduation work permit application updates

Post-graduation work permit application updates.

As of February 14, 2019, the post-graduation work permit application requires the official completion of studies letter and official transcripts, which are both obtained from The Centre in Needles Hall. If you have already applied for the post-graduation work permit after this date without including both documents, and have not received your post-graduation work permit yet, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recommended that you upload the missing document to the IRCC web form.

Book a same day immigration consulting appointment in Portal

Book an appointment on Portal.

If you would like to speak to an immigration consultant one-on-one, you can now book a same-day appointment on Portal. Follow these three easy steps:

  1. Log into Portal using a web browser (not the app)
  2. Select ‘Calendar’ from the left side menu
  3. At the top, click the 4th tab ‘Book Appointment’
  4. Select ‘Immigration Consulting’ and complete the booking

Waterloo mourns the loss of student

The University of Waterloo community mourns the loss of one of our students and offers our deepest sympathies to their family, friends, and peers.

The second-year student was enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and died by suicide on campus on April 2.
