    • Find out from Waterloo's immigration consultants how you could remain in Canada and work full time after completing your degree.

  • 7th Annual Black History Month Lecture - (Re)Making History: Memory, Mythmaking, and the Civil Rights Movement
    • The Senator John Heinz History Center in Association with the Smithsonian Institution presents the 7 annual Black History Month lecture with guest speaker Dr Hasan Jeffries.
    • Attend this lecture and explore the popular misconceptions thorugh different media forms interrogating leading myths about the African American fight for equality.
    • Register in advance and attend Friday February 12 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm
  • WUSA'a Got Talent
    • WUSA is once again hosting their Instagram talent show!
      • The submission period starts on Monday February 8 and will run over Reading Week, until February 22.
      • Voting will be hosted on our IGTV from February 25 – 28.
      • Winners will be announced on March 1.
    • People can sign up by going to sendit.uwaterloo.ca to upload their video file.
  • Dating During Covid-19 Workshop
    • Attend this workshop to learn some tips from an expert from ShiftCollab. They are sharing tips for fun, creative virtual dates and also how to spot red flags and have boundary-setting conversations

  • Resume Tips: Thinking Like an Employer
    • Attend this workshop to learn how to interpret job descriptions and tailor your most relevant skills while adopting the perspective of an employer.

  • Library Love Week

    • Library Love Week is finally here. Between February 8-15, there will be different activities you can participate in and contests you can enter to win a prize:
      • Writing contest: theme is What’s your love story. There are three categories that students can enter, poetry, short story, and non-fiction. There is a $50 prize for each category. Submissions are due Feb 14th at 11:59pm.

      • Library Love virtual services fair: Visit each resource to find all the letters to complete the word jumble puzzle. Once they have the word jumble figured out they can enter the contest.

      • Virtual Blind Date with a Book: Complete this quiz to find out what type of book you will match with.

      • Scholar(ly) creates: Attend Wednesday from 6-7pm to name that tune love songs trivia game.

      • Downloadable Valentines: Download and print of valentines from materials in Special Collections & Archives
