This January the Social Innovation and Impact Minor was featured in a news article in The Record. The Social Innovation and Impact minor is designed to help students combine their passion for creating social impact with their academic studies. 

Through the Minor, students from various faculties—including arts, engineering, and environment—can earn academic credit while working on real-world projects that tackle issues like mental health, climate change, and more. The program combines theoretical learning with hands-on experience, giving students the tools to become active problem-solvers and leaders in today’s rapidly changing world. Watson’s Eatery is excited to announce it is now home to a new food service provider, as St. Paul’s University College has started a partnership with Brown’s Fine Food Services on April 29, 2021, for a three-year term.

Cassie Myers (BA ’18), an alumnus of the GreenHouse social impact incubator at St. Paul’s University College and Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo, has been recognized as one of 50 Changemakers in The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine for 2021.  

It didn’t take long for our newest chancellor to show her unique value to our St. Paul’s community. During a recent visit to Dakar, Senegal, the Right Honorable Michaëlle Jean, 27th Governor General of Canada, took the time to award former student Seyni Mbaye (BES ’17) with a Young Alumni Award.
