Plan for success

From planning for your first year of university to preparing to graduate, we want to help you make the most of your university experience.

For academic questions or concerns, consult an advisor in your home department/school or Faculty office. Take advantage of the many resources and services available in the Faculty, in residence, and across campus to help you succeed at your studies.

Student involvement

Applied Health Sciences is home to an outstandingly diverse, accomplished, and dedicated student body. Enhance your time at University by getting involved by getting involved on campus. Not only is it a great way to meet people, but it is also an excellent addition to your resume.

From volunteering in community outreach programs or becoming a student mentor, to participating in our student society, athletics, and international exchanges, there are numerous ways to pursue your passion, discover new experiences, and give back to your community and fellow students.

International opportunities

Academic exchanges to other countries are a great way to broaden your knowledge and to learn about your program from a different perspective. They're also an excellent way to learn about life in another country and to travel to other parts of the world! To learn more about exchanges please visit the Waterloo International and the Applied Health Sciences Exchange websites.
