Applied Health Sciences Expansion building

Where to find us

The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences is housed primarily in B.C. Matthews Hall, the Applied Health Sciences Expansion, and the Lyle S. Hallman Institute for Health Promotion on the University's main campus.

Faculty administration (Office of the Dean) is located on the 3rd floor of B.C. Matthews Hall. For locations of individual staff or faculty members, see Our people.

Propel Centre for Population Health Impact and the Centre for Community, Clinical and Applied Research Excellence (CCCARE) are located in the Toby Jenkins Applied Health Research Building.

Directions to campus

Waterloo's main campus is located at 200 University Avenue West in Waterloo, ON. For driving directions to main campus or public transit options, see University location and directions

From the University Avenue entrance to campus, turn right on the campus Ring Road and proceed to second stop sign. B.C. Matthews Hall - Lyle S. Hallman Institute - Applied Health Sciences Expansion is the building complex on your left. (For Parking Lot M, proceed through STOP sign and turn left immediately past building.)

Visitor parking

The following parking lots are closest to our Faculty and are available for use by visitors to campus:

  • Parking lot M - $6.00 pay and display ticket (adjacent to AHS Expansion/B.C. Matthews Hall/Lyle Hallman Institute)
  • Parking lot N - $5.00 pay and display ticket
  • Parking lot R - $5.00 coin gate - ONLY AVAILABLE from 3:45 p.m. onwards

University of Waterloo Visitors Centre is located in South Campus Hall (SCH) at the University Ave. entrance to campus.
