Siv Sivaloganathan has been awarded a University Research Chair, effective July 2011. The chair is for seven years.

Siv Sivaloganthan and Mohammad Kohandel, jointly with two researchers from Princess Margaret Hospital at Toronto, have received an Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada - Collaborative Health Research Projects (NSERC-CHRP) grant ($468,000, 2011-2013).
