The Department of Economics welcomes donations from groups and individuals to support our educational and research goals.

We appreciate donations to our Economics Fund as these allow us to support student success.  Recently, we have assisted undergraduate and graduate students travel to conferences to present their research.  We have also purchased a computer server for graduate students who require significant computational capacity for their research. We have supported undergraduate student events and initiatives such as conferences hosted by our Economics Society.

We are also very grateful for donations to our Distinguished Lecture Fund to support our annual lecture series. Leading researchers in economics visit campus and give  public and research lectures. The lectures and resulting networking opportunities greatly enrich our students’ educational experiences.

Suggestions for specially designated scholarships are welcome. Contributions are also welcome for existing bursaries and scholarships at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Please contact Margaret Insley, Chair of the Department of Economics, or the the Faculty of Arts' Director of Advancement, Kim Bardwell for details.
