Our own Economics Professor, Dr. Joel Blit, has been appointed as a member of the Council of Canadian Academies’ (CCA) Expert Panel on The State of Science, Technology, and Innovation in Canada.
The CCA is an independent, not-for-profit organization that supports evidence-based, authoritative, expert assessments that inform public policy development in Canada. Since its establishment in 2005, the CCA has undertaken over 70 assessments on a wide range of public policy topics of high importance to governments across Canada and in other jurisdictions.
