Whose activism? Your activism: Actions for a more just and sustainable community.

In his talk, Julian will show how young people in the Roxbury neighbourhood in Boston formed a coalition called ‘Clean Buses for Boston’ as a response to increased asthma levels in the area. He will look at global climate justice activism, highlighting especially, the role of young girls and women and finally, he will look at food justice: who grows Canada’s food, and why this matters.
