Lunch & Learn: Leaves for Faculty Members

Learn about the various leaves available to UW faculty. We'll cover the length, eligibility, and procedure for a range of leaves (pregnancy and parental leaves, compassionate leave, sick leave, and more). We'll also discuss the repercussions or challenges associated with taking leaves as a faculty member. During your leave, what happens to your teaching load and/or courses? research projects? lab? grad-students? post-docs?
