In November 2021, following a few months of questions about specific procedures and practices that are not accounted for in the FAUW Constitution, and proposals to introduce new practices, the Board voted to undertake a comprehensive review of its governance documents and practices. The project was on hold until an Executive Manager was hired.
In November 2022, the Board voted to engage the Canadian Association of University Teachers to conduct the review, and terms are now being discussed.
