Today FAUW released a survey to our Lecturer members, seeking their feedback to improve terms of employment and working conditions for all Lecturers.
Policy 76 covers appointments and terms of employment for faculty members. This policy is currently undergoing significant revisions, and fundamental changes in the Lecturer position are expected.
To assess what changes are needed, the Faculty Association is trying to determine how Lecturers function across different departments under the current policy. This information is crucial to the process and Lecturer participation is essential.
The survey will be open for one week, until end of day Friday, November 20. It takes approximately 10 minutes and all responses are anonymous. If you are a Lecturer and did not receive an invitation to participate in the survey, please contact Erin Windibank, FAUW executive manager, x33787.
