Today is OCUFA's annual Social Media Day of Action in support of contract faculty. Please join us in support of this group of faculty.
The Social Media Day of Action is a day for contract faculty and allies to come together to support better working conditions for contract faculty and all precarious workers on campus.
This year, OCUFA has nine faculty associations that represent contract faculty in bargaining, and the day of action is designed to support their bargaining efforts, specifically around of job security, equal pay, and pension and benefits for contract faculty.
On the Contract Faculty Committee (CFC) section of the OCUFA website, you can find graphics you can use on your social media platforms today (also available below), a list of sample tweets, and graphics to use as your background filter on the video conferencing platforms on which you work and socialize to express solidarity with contract faculty.
