Noramy Gonzalia Diaz supported Dr. Karla Boluk, who praised her for her thoughtful and timely delivery of feedback on student assignments. Gonzalia Diaz’ attention to detail and anticipation of potential issues were also greatly appreciated.
School of Public Health Sciences
Tasha Shields supported Dr. Rhona Hanning with a new course this past term, drawing on Medicine Wheel teachings to share her lived experience, which really resonated with students. Hanning praised Shields for her willingness to be open and vulnerable with her students.
The Faculty's Teaching Assistant Awards, valued at $500 each, are designed to reward graduate students who have served as excellent teaching assistants in each of the three academic units every term. The nomination process and past winners can be found here.
