10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Faculty of Health Dean's Welcome and Tours  - EXP 1689

• Check-in, pick up your name tag and enjoy a coffee and snacks in the Faculty of Health Expansion Building as you visit with fellow alumni and enjoy a relaxed start to the day. 

• Join Dean Lili Liu for highlights from the Faculty of Health. Learn about the positive impacts of changing our faculty name, including increased enrollment and growing community partnerships.

• Explore your old stomping grounds and see all that’s changed since your last visit to campus! Current students will tour you around our 3 buildings - Burt Matthews Hall, Lyle Hallman Institute for Health promotion, and the new (depending on when you graduated) 56,000 square foot Health Expansion.

12 p.m. to 2 p.m. - Alumni Weekend Picnic & Milestone Anniversary Celebration - B.C. Matthews Hall Green

• Join us on BMH Green for a BBQ lunch, beer tent and live music. Check out the new Student Life Centre and Physical Activities Centre expansions and mingle with alumni and friends from all faculties!
• Wear or bring along your favourite University of Waterloo clothing or memorabilia for a chance to win great prizes!
• Milestone Anniversary Celebration
  • This event will feature a special celebration for alumni celebrating 25th, 50th and 55th anniversaries, with an archives display of photos and memorabilia from the milestone years and a celebratory address by University of Waterloo President Vivek Goel.
• Meal Selection
  • Your meal ticket includes a hamburger (halal), grilled chicken burger (halal), or a Beyond Meat burger, side salad, a non-alcoholic beverage and dessert. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on-site for those who are 19+.
  • Attendees are encouraged to pre-purchase meal tickets. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on-site. Credit and debit only. There will be halal and vegetarian/vegan options available.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - UW WELL-FIT 20th Anniversary Community BBQ and Open House - Toby Jenkins Applied Health Research Building

Over the last 20 years, UW WELL-FIT has been offering safe and evidence-based exercise programming to improve the well-being of more than 2000 people with cancer in our region. Join us, along with KW’s very own Chef D, for a BBQ meal with donations and proceeds supporting our UW WELL-FIT cancer and exercise programs. Come and enjoy tours of our facilities, games/activities for kids, music, and more.

Select your meal preference from Chef D’s delicious menu in advance:

• Beef burger
• Chicken Burger
• Vegan Quinoa salad (gluten-free, nut-free)
• Kid-friendly meal (hotdogs of course)

While the event is free, please consider supporting our programs by making a donation during registration or at the event.

Parking: Parking in ‘X’ lot is free on Sunday. If you are able, please park in X lot and walk up to the Toby Jenkins building. Limited parking spots will be available near the Toby Jenkins Building for individuals requiring accessibility accommodations.
