Teranet's Province of Ontario Land Registry Information System (POLARIS) property boundaries data

These datasets were provided to the Geospatial Centre by Teranet in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. Ownership parcels are based on title records from the Ministry of Government Services, reflecting the ownership boundaries of each property.

This workshop is a primer for working with computational hydrology software and, as such, assumes a good grounding in most GIS concepts of spatial and raster analysis. The tutorial is designed to get you comfortable with HEC RAS's specific requirements for creating a dynamic flood simulation.

The Platform aims to make geospatial information available in a coherent way to the public, academic institutions, the private sector and others to conduct research or produce value-added products and applications, driving innovation and stimulating economic development.

The Federal Geospatial Platform has two faces: an internal site that can be found at gcgeo.gc.ca (internal government network), and a public site entitled Open Maps, on the Open Government Portal.
