StatsCan: Geospatial web services for socioeconomic variables

The Platform aims to make geospatial information available in a coherent way to the public, academic institutions, the private sector and others to conduct research or produce value-added products and applications, driving innovation and stimulating economic development.

The Federal Geospatial Platform has two faces: an internal site that can be found at gcgeo.gc.ca (internal government network), and a public site entitled Open Maps, on the Open Government Portal.
