Want to get hands-on practice on Machine Learning tools for processing Geospatial Data?

Join us on to learn how to implement Machine Learning workflows using real-world Geospatial datasets.

Register today as there are limited seats!

Learning Objectives:

  • How to import and visualize large Geospatial datasets, both vector and raster, in a Jupyter notebook environment.
  • How to use basic functionalities of Python tools such as Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Keras.
  • How to run advanced Machine Learning models using a GPU in a Cloud Computing setting.

Logistics:

The registration is free for any member of the University of Waterloo.

The workshop will take place in the Computer Lab, Dana Porter Library 329.

There are computers available, or you can bring your own laptop.

It is not necessary to install any software in advance.
