Two Statistics and Actuarial Science professors receive $160,000 in funding from Ontario Research Fund
Aukosh Jagannath and Ruodu Wang, two researchers in the Faculty of Mathematics, have received $160,000 in funding from the Ontario Research Fund-Research Infrastructure as part of more than $10 million in funding for Waterloo researchers announced November 22, 2024.

CS Escape Workshop
Designed for Grade 8 students attending school in Canada and belonging to gender identities underrepresented in computer science, the CS Escape workshop consists of a series of four sessions introducing students to computer science concepts. Students can apply between November 18 and December 2, 2024 and selected applicants will have to pay a $25 fee to attend.
