Brackets aren’t only for equations this month! Join us for the March Mathness Bracket Challenge by completing and submitting a bracket to the form below with who you think will win each game for the upcoming NCAA Basketball Tournament. You do not need advanced knowledge of basketball or the teams involved as this tournament has been known to feature wild upsets and random winners. Join us for March Mathness and enter for the chance to win bragging rights, and a basketball.

How to play:

  1. Download and complete a bracket here using one of the two methods:
  2. Fill out each section of the bracket with who you think will win each game and advance on to the next round
  3. Submit your bracket using the form below by 12:00 PM March 21, 2024 to be entered into the contest

Scoring and how to win:

  1. Points are awarded for each game winner you pick correctly, with more points earned for correctly selecting winners in the later round.
  2. The points breakdown for picking correct winners is:  
    Round 1 games: 1 point
    Round 2 games: 2 points
    Round 3 games (Sweet 16): 4 points
    Round 4 games (Elite 8): 8 points
    Round 5 games (Final 4): 16 points
    Round 6 games (Championship): 32 points
  3. The person with the highest number of points after Round 6 will be the winner. In the event of a tie, the first tiebreaker will be whoever selected the most correct of the Final Four teams. If it is still a tie, the person with the most points scored from rounds 4-6 will be the winner. If it is still tied, the winner shall be chosen by a coin toss.
