Two of the four recipients of the 2013 Amit & Meena Chakma Award for Exceptional Teaching by a Student are PhD students in the Faculty of Mathematics.
Congratulations to Alex Shum (Applied Mathematics) and Shuntaro Yamagishi (Pure Mathematics). Today's Daily Bulletin describes their teaching accomplishments with high praise from their students.
Alex Shum has also won the first Feds Teaching Award from the Federation of Students, the undergraduate student society at the University of Waterloo.
