Nomination for Faculty of Mathematics Undergraduate J. Alan George Leadership Award

Class of 2025 - June Convocation

Nominee Eligibility

  • Be a Faculty of Mathematics student
  • Must have submitted an "Application to Graduate" form for convocation in June 2025
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Approval of academic record by Associate Dean of Mathematics, Undergraduate Studies
  • The selection committee will look for candidates who have achieved one or more of the following: 

    1. Enhanced the profile of the Faculty of Mathematics on campus

    2. Demonstrated ongoing support for and participation in university-wide activities and groups

    3. Fostered communication amongst students, Faculty, staff, and administration within the Faculty and/or university-wide

    4. Contributed to the social community of the Math Faculty and/or university-wide

    5. Improved the academic environment for fellow Math Faculty students

Nomination Process

  1. Complete the nomination form below before Sunday, March 3rd at 11:59pm
  2. Obtain support from five (5) nominators, each of whom must fill out the Undergraduate J. Alan George Nominators - Declaration of Support form. Please see form for Nominator eligibility.
