The School of Planning is pleased to announce it will hold its annual Welcome to Planning ceremony on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.
This is an opportunity for incoming undergraduate and graduate students to celebrate their entry into the Planning community, and for their families and friends to hear about the interesting and exciting work that we do at uWaterloo Planning.
The event will begin at 9:30 AM with a morning reception and light breakfast in the EV3 Atrium, where students can connect with their cohorts and professors. Tours will also be offered of the EV3 Building and School of Planning to help students get comfortable in their “new home”.
This will be followed by the 11 AM Welcome event in the adjacent Modern Languages Theatre featuring short presentations from student organizations, faculty, and our Director, Dr. Mark Seasons.

Parking for the event will be available in H Lot at a cost of $5 on exit. Please see the map to the left for directions from H lot to EV3.
