SPSS is now available via RemoteApp. You will need to be connected to the Campus VPN or have a wired connection on campus to access this resource.

Accessing SPSS via RemoteApp:

  • Go to RemoteApp.
  • Enter the following credentials:
    • Domain\username: nexus\yourWatIAMuserid
    • Password: your WatIAM password
  • Click "Sign in."
  • Click on "IBM SPSS Statistics 27"

The icon is labeled "IBM SPSS Statistics 26" in this screenshot.

  • A .rdp file will download to your computer.
    • Note: Mac users will need the latest version of Microsoft Remote Desktop to gain access. It is available in the App Store.
  • Double-click on the .rdp file. The remote desktop application for your device should open automatically.
    • On Windows:
      • Click "Connect."
      • Enter the following credentials again:
        • Domain\username: nexus\yourWatIAMuserid and
        • Password: your WatIAM password
      • Click "OK."
      • SPSS will automatically open. 
    • On Mac:
      •  Close the "Edit remote desktops" dialogue.
      • Double-click on the created connection.
      • A certificate error may appear if so click "Continue." 
      • SPSS will automatically open.
