  • Procrastination Avoidance Week
    • This week is National Procrastination Week. Writing Centres, Learning Commons, Academic Success Centres, and Libraries across Canada are coming together to support students to avoid procrastination.
    • Register for a workshop this week with the SSO and other schools across Canada
  • Tackling your taxes - Part 1
    • Are you ready to tackle the ultimate adult task? Canadian income taxes are due April 30.
    • Check out the link for on and off campus support.
  • Tackling your taxes - Part 2
    • International students can join a representative from the Canada Revenue Agency who can:
      • help you learn the basics of how to file your own income tax return.
      • understand more about the Canadian tax system.

  • Immigration Information Session: Pathways to Permanent Residence
    • ​​​​​​​If you are wondering how to become a permanent resident in Canada, join a representative from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to learn about the Express Entry system.

  • Reading Week self-assessment
    • There are no classes March 15-16.
    • Use the Reading Week self-assessment to make the most of this break.
  • Managing Personal Wellness in a Global Pandemic: Alleviating Anxiety
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Learn strategies to help manage stress, alleviate anxiety in the moment and challenge your anxious thoughts.
    • Register and join March 9 from 2:00 - 4:00pm.
  • BLND Business Meets Design
    • If you have an optimistic creative mindset, then join this 3 day virtual event from March 12 - 14 where you can gain new insights, enjoy being able to connect industry experts and with other designers and business leaders.
    • Open to all students, as it will look at broad topics that relate to business, design, and the future of work.
    • Event fee is $15.
    • Register before March 11.
