Dr. Robillard is an affiliated researcher of the AGE-WELL Network of Centres of Excellence and Vice-chair of the Ethical, Legal, Social Impacts Committee of the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging.
This presentation will cover:
- How computerized resources for dementia are reshaping healthcare for the older demographic.
- The unique social and ethical challenges of an older adult end-user population.
- Results from studies evaluating the quality, ethics and impact of computerized resources for dementia.
- Novel, artificial intelligence-based tools that can maximize the benefits of computerized platforms.
- How a trans-disciplinary approach can put forward innovative and effective solutions to address the broader challenges of the dementia epidemic.
