Title

Numerical Relativity, overview and its future challenges

Abstract

Numerical simulations of Einstein equations are key to unravel consequences of General Relativity both for fundamental questions and for predictions necessary for detecting and decoding gravitational waves. The current success of this program relies on a healthy interplay between physics and mathematics. This talk will summarize some key aspects of this enterprise, illustrate with some examples and discuss some future challenges
